Chennai, 23 November 2006: Sical Logistics is the sole entry among domestic multi-modal providers of bulk logistics to be listed in the Shipping and Logistics Top 10 sectoral ranking in Dun and Bradstreet's India's Top 500 Companies 2006 report. While the other nine entries are either pure play shipping carriers, cargo deliverers, or container logistics providers, Sical provides the entire gamut services for bulk, containerized, and project cargo across port logistics, inland logistics, container logistics and offshore logistics.

On total income, Sical was ranked 4 in India's logistics sector, after Shipping Corporation of India, Great Eastern Shipping Company and Container Corporation of India.

The listed companies’ pro?led in the publication account for over 75% of BSE’s market capitalisation and the total income of all 500 companies accounts for 50% of India’s GDP.
