Vinod Giri has 7 years of experience in the infrastructure sector. He started his career with a short stint in the Project Finance division of Small Industries Development Bank of India. Subsequently he joined the advisory division of Credit Analysis and Research Ltd. (CARE), a credit rating company. At CARE he handled assignments related to company valuation, feasibility studies / project financial appraisals and diagnostic studies of companies (mandated by Disinvestment Commission of India). The assignments were primarily in the infrastructure sector, spanning sub-sectors like power, oil and gas, ports and logistics. He has been part of IDFC Private Equity team for around 5 years. He has been involved in a number of logistics / transportation infrastructure deals done by IDFC PE. Vinod received an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai, and a BE (Mechanical) from the University of Mumbai.
